Hell on Earth: Gimme Shelter
Smith and Robards
Smith & Robards was founded in 1869 by Jacob Smith, a CSA research scientist, and Sir Clifton Robards, a member of the landed gentry from England. From humble beginnings in a modified barn in Salt Lake City, the company quickly expanded to be one of the primary purveyors of the "New Science": devices built using the explosive expansion of scientific thought that followed the discovery of the many properties of Ghost Rock.
After the passing of its founders, Smith & Robards continued for decades on the leading edge of scientific research and development, pioneering alternate fuel sources for automobiles and in-home conveniences. The company was eventually purchased by its long-time rival Hellstromme Industries in 1962.
